It was a night of triumph for outstanding Suzuki automobile and motorcycle dealers from all over the country, as they reaped honors in the 2011 Suzuki AutoMoto Dealers Awards. The awarding was part of Suzuki’s “Go for Suzuki” grand event, centering on the theme “Go for Greatness.” It was in conjunction with “Go for Growth,” where Suzuki unveiled its newest Motorcycle Manufacturing Plant and “Go for Green,” which featured the launch of the latest Suzuki Swift.
Many awards were given during the event. Among them was the Top Dealer in Auto Sales with Suzuki Auto Kalookan rising on top, besting 14 other dealerships in the country. Thanks to last year’s bestsellers, the Suzuki Celerio and the Suzuki APV. Another coveted; award for auto dealers was the Balanced Score Card Champion, which went to Suzuki Auto Cebu. The balanced score card, or BSC, is the system of evaluating dealers based on set standards for sales, service and spare parts.
Meanwhile, for the Motorcycle Dealer Awards, the highest award went to Motortrade for being the top motorcycle dealer in sales. For years, motortrade has been a consistent top awardee, and one of Suzuki’s most valued dealers. On the other hand, another major award was the top 3S shop dealers. The 3S shops are very important to the Suzuki brand, as they are the one-stop motorcycle shops offering sales, service and spare parts, and only carry exclusive Suzuki products. The top 3S went to Solid Motorcycle Distributors, Inc.
The awards were given by Suzuki’s local executives, headed by Suzuki President Satoshi Uchida, together with their special guests, Osamu Suzuki, Chairman and CEO of Suzuki Motor Corporation, who flew in from Japan especially to attend the event and Suzuki’s very own Astig endorser, Ms. Angel Locsin.
